The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 630km 30″ OH1 Oil Pipeline, which runs from the In Amenas SP1 Terminal in In Amenas, Illizi and ends at Haoud El Hamra Dispatching Terminal in Hassi Messaoud, Ouargla. The pipeline is also known as In Amenas – Haoudh El Hamra Oil Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of OH1 Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 935 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of OH1 Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 7 pump station, pigging stations, and valve stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of OH1 Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 9 valve stations and tie-in point.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
