The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 669km 24″/22″ OB1 Oil Pipeline, which runs from Haoud El Hamra, Hassi Messaoud, Ouargla to Bejaia Terminal, Bejaia. The pipeline is also known as Haoud El Hamra – Bejaia Oil Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of OB1 Oil Pipeline (Haoud El Hamra – Bejaia Oil Pipeline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1328 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of OB1 Oil Pipeline (Haoud El Hamra – Bejaia Oil Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 10 pump stations and oil terminal.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
