The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 150km 40″ GM1 Gas Pipeline, which runs from Gassi Touil Departure Terminal in Gassi Touil, Hassi Messaoud, Ouargla, and ends at Hassi Messaoud Arrival Terminal in Hassi Messaoud, Ouargla. The pipeline is also known as Gassi Touil – Hassi Messaoud Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of GM1 Gas Pipeline (Gassi Touil – Hassi Messaoud Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 111 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of GM1 Gas Pipeline (Gassi Touil – Hassi Messaoud Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 4 departure terminal, arrival terminal, and pigging stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
