The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 769.5km 48″ GR5 Gas Pipeline, which runs from Reggane Departure Terminal in Tamekten, Adrar, and ends at the National Gas Dispatching Center (CNDG) in Hassi R’Mel, Laghouat. The pipeline is also known as Reggane – Krechba – Hassi R’Mel Gas Pipeline.

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of GR5 Gas Pipeline (Reggane – Krechba – Hassi R’Mel Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 754 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of GR5 Gas Pipeline (Reggane – Krechba – Hassi R’Mel Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 9 compressor station, metering station, and pigging stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of GR5 Gas Pipeline (Reggane – Krechba – Hassi R’Mel Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 28 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
