Description

The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 786km 48″ GK3 Gas Pipeline, which consists of two sections: 699km Hassi R’Mel – El Kala section and 87km Tamlouka – Skikda section. The Hassi R’Mel – El Kala section runs from the National Gas Dispatching Center (CNDG) in Hassi R’Mel, Laghouat, and ends at El Kala Arrival Terminal in Berrihane, El Tarf. The Tamlouka – Skikda section runs from PC06 in Tamlouka, Guelma, and ends at Skikda Arrival Terminal in Skikda, Skikda. The pipeline is also known as Hassi R’Mel – Skikda/El Kala Gas Pipeline.

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of GK3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Skikda/El Kala Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 2126 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of GK3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Skikda/El Kala Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 10 metering stations and pigging stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of GK3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Skikda/El Kala Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 55 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
