The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 512km 42″ GZ3 Gas Pipeline, which runs from the National Gas Dispatching Center (CNDG) in Hassi R’Mel, Laghouat, and ends at Arzew Arrival Terminal in Bethioua, Oran. The pipeline is also known as Hassi R’Mel – Arzew Gas Pipeline.

Four GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of GZ3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Arzew Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 992 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of GZ3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Arzew Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 7 compressor stations, metering stations, and pigging stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of GZ3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Arzew Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 17 valve stations.

2.4 Blowdown Points of GZ3 Gas Pipeline (Hassi R’Mel – Arzew Gas Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 18 blowdown points.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
