Description

The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 547km 48″ GO1 Gas Pipeline, which runs from the National Gas Dispatching Center (CNDG) in Hassi R’Mel, Laghouat, and ends at Algeria-Tunisia border in Safsaf El Ouesra, Tébessa. The pipeline is also known as Hassi R’Mel – Oued Saf Saf Gas Pipeline, Trans-Mediterranean Pipeline’s Algeria section, and Enrico Mattei Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Four GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of GO1 Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 673 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of GO1 Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 5 compressor station, metering stations, and pigging stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of GO1 Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 14 valve stations.

2.4 Blowdown Points of GO1 Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 7 blowdown points.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
