The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 128km Ukanafun – Mfamosing Gas Pipeline, which receives gas from Alakiri – Obigbo – Ikot Abasi Gas Pipeline in Ukanafun, Akwa Ibom and ends at United Cement Company of Nigeria (UNICEM) in Mfamosing, Akamkpa, Cross River. The pipeline is also know as Ukanafun – Calabar Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Ukanafun – Mfamosing Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 438 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Ukanafun – Mfamosing Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 5 pigging stations and offtake stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
