The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 88.5km 24″ Uquo – Calabar Power Station Gas Pipeline, which consists of Uquo – Oron Gas Pipeline, Oron – Creek Town Gas Pipeline and Creek Town – Calabar Power Station Gas Pipeline. The system starts from Uquo CPF in Esit Eket, Akwa Ibom and ends at Calabar Power Station in Odukpani, Cross River.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Uquo – Calabar Power Station Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 135 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Uquo – Calabar Power Station Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 4 central processing facility, metering stations, and power station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
