Description

The map contains Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline (TENP), which runs from the Bocholtz interconnection point on the Germany–Netherlands border and the Eynatten/Raeren interconnection point on the Germany-Belgium border to the Wallbach interconnection point on the Germany-Switzerland border. This bidirectional pipeline system originally consists of two lines, the DN950 TENP I and DN1000 TENP II. Both horizontal length are 507km. A third pipeline, TENP III, was constructed to replace the aging TENP I.

2 Methodology

The vector pipeline maps (.pdf and .ai) are created using data collected from various sources including GPS, remote sensing technology, and geographic surveys, resulting in more precise location information for pipeline stations and turning points along the pipeline route.

This map includes the geographical area from the pipeline’s starting point to its end point. Its content contains the pipeline route, stations along the pipeline, and the administrative regions that the pipeline passes through.

Two file formats, .pdf and .ai (Adobe Illustrator), are included. Both of them are editable and layered. Users can show and hide a layer simply with a mouse click.

3.3 [Germany Country Map Plugin] Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline (TENP)

4 Editability of Map:

Based on the layered digital map (.pdf and .ai), users can perform further development and modifications, including but not limited to:
