The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 106.85km 30″ Zarza de Tajo – Yela gas pipeline, which starts from the regulation and measurement station in Zarza de Tajo, Cuenca, and ends at the Yela underground gas storage in Brihuega, Guadalajara. This pipeline connects Spain’s major gas pipelines including Alcázar de San Juan – Zarza de Tajo gas pipeline, Zarza de Tajo – Getaje gas pipeline, Yela – Villar de Arnedo gas pipeline and Algete – Yela gas pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Zarza de Tajo – Yela Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 466 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Pipeline Stations of Zarza de Tajo – Yela Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 7 undergournd gas storage, regulation and measurement stations, valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
