Description

The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 345km 38″/20″ feed gas pipeline of Yemen LNG plant, which starts from gas processing units in Marib district of Marib governorate, and ends at the LNG plant in Rudum, Shabwah governorate. The pipeline consists of a 38″ main line and a 20″ transfer line.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Yemen LNG Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 575 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Yemen LNG Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 gas processing units and LNG plant.

2.3 Block Valve Stations of Yemen LNG Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 10 block valve stations (BVS).

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

 

3 Lifetime Free Updates:

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
