The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 250.4km 30″ Yela – Villar de Arnedo gas pipeline, which starts from the Yela underground gas storage in Brihuega, Guadalajara, and ends at the compressor station in El Villar de Arnedo, La Rioja. This pipeline connects Spain’s major gas pipelines including Castelnou – Villar de Arnedo gas pipeline, Villar de Arnedo – Haro gas pipeline, Zarza de Tajo – Yela gas pipeline and Algete – Yela gas pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Yela – Villar de Arnedo Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1200 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Pipeline Stations of Yela – Villar de Arnedo Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 13 undergournd gas storage, compressor station, regulation and measurement stations, valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
