Description

The GIS Datasets contain the 32.7km 30″ Storebælt Nord Gas Pipeline and 31.2km 30″ Storebælt Syd Gas Pipeline, which run from L/V Nyborg in Nyborg, Syddanmark to L/V Kongsmark in Slagelse, Sjælland. The pipeline is part of Baltic Pipe.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Storebæltsforbindelsen (Double Lines)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 169 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 LV Stations of Storebæltsforbindelsen (Double Lines)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 line valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
