The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 45.53km 18″ Pipavav – Gundala Gas Pipeline (PGPL), which runs from Lonthpur Tap Off of Darod – Jafarabad Gas Pipeline (DJPL) in Jafarabad, Amreli, Gujarat to Gundala, Una, Junagadh, Gujarat. Following the commissioning of Chhara – Lonthpur Connectivity Pipeline (CLCPL), PGPL receives regasified LNG from CLCPL and deliver it to the DJPL.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Pipavav – Gundala Gas Pipeline (PGPL)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 90 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Pipeline Stations of Pipavav – Gundala Gas Pipeline (PGPL)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 receive terminal, sectionalizing valve station and tap off point.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
