The GIS Datasets contain the locations of Oryx Oil Field’s main stations (Benoy CPF, Mouroumar Oil Gathering Manifold, Mbaikoro Oil Gathering Manifold, and Oil Export Terminal Station), 17.42km oil gathering pipelines (from Mouroumar Manifold and Mbaikoro Manifold to Benoy CPF), and the 79.844km oil export pipeline to Chad – Cameroon Oil Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Oryx Oil Field Main Pipelines

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 139 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Oryx Oil Field Main Pipelines

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 4 oil field CPF, oil gathering manifolds, oil export terminal station (OETS).

2.3 Valve Stations of Oryx Oil Field Main Pipelines

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 4 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
