The GIS Datasets contain the 341km NETRA Gas Pipeline, which runs from the Europipe Receiving Facilities (ERF) in Dornum, Aurich to the Steinitz Gas Transfer Station in Salzwedel, Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, where it interconnects with the Steinitz – Bernau Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of NETRA Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1113 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of NETRA Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 9 compressor stations, control and measuring stations, interconnection stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of NETRA Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 23 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
