The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 24.5km Irún – Arcangues Gas Pipeline, which starts from France-Spain border in Biriatou, Hendaye, and ends at the cut-off station in Arcangues, Ustaritz. This pipeline is interconnected with Spain’s Vergara – Irún Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Irún – Arcangues Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 184 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Irún – Arcangues Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 metering station, cut-off station.

2.3 Sectioning Stations of Irún – Arcangues Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 1 sectioning station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
