Description

The GIS Datasets contain the 98.4km 48″ Iran – Iraq Gas Export Pipeline (Charmaleh – Naftshahr), which receive gas from Kohdasht – Charmaleh Gas Pipeline in Eevan, Ilam, and sends the gas to Iran-Iraq border in Qasr-e-Shirin, Kermanshah. This pipeline is one of Iran’s two gas export pipelines to Iraq.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Iran – Iran – Iraq Gas Export Pipeline (Charmaleh – Naftshahr)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 485 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Iran – Iraq Gas Export Pipeline (Charmaleh – Naftshahr)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 pigging station and metering station.

2.3 Block Valve Stations of Iran – Iraq Gas Export Pipeline (Charmaleh – Naftshahr)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 block valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
