The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 22km 36″ Flanders Artery Gas Pipeline, which starts from the compressor station in Pitgam, Bergues, and ends at the metering station neary France-Belgium border in Oost-Cappel, Hondschoote.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Flanders Artery Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 62 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Flanders Artery Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 compressor station, metering station.

2.3 Sectioning Stations of Flanders Artery Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 1 sectioning station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
