The GIS Datasets contain the 297km 21″ ESPO – Komsomolsk Refinery Oil Pipeline, which receives crude oil from Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline (ESPO) in Khabarovskiy, and sends the crude oil to Komsomolsk Refinery in Komsomol’skiy.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of ESPO – Komsomolsk Refinery Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 595 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of ESPO – Komsomolsk Refinery Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 5 pump stations, oil terminal, and refinery.

2.3 Block Valve Stations of ESPO – Komsomolsk Refinery Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 20 block valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
