The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of trunkline part of 335.5km 36″/30″ Dadri – Bawana – Nangal gas pipeline, which supplies natural gas from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh to Ludhiana, Punjab. The trunkline consists of two sections: Dadri – Bawana Gas Pipeline and Bawana – Nangal Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Dadri – Bawana – Nangal Gas Pipeline (Trunkline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 649 Turning Points along the Pipeline Route.

2.2 Main Stations of Dadri – Bawana – Nangal Gas Pipeline (Trunkline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 9 intermediate pigging stations (IPS), tap off points (TOP), receive terminals (RT).

2.3 Sectionalizing Valve Stations of Dadri – Bawana – Nangal Gas Pipeline (Trunkline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 9 sectionalizing valve stations (SV).

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
