Description

The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 302.9km 28″ Cabiúnas – Vitória Gas Pipeline (GASCAV) and its 9.9km 10″ UTG Sul Capixaba branch line. The main line starts from the Cabiúnas Gas Processing Unit in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, and ends at Terminal Industrial Multiimodal de Serra in Serra, Espírito Santo. This pipeline is part of Southeast Northeast Interconnection Gas Pipeline (GASENE).

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Cabiúnas – Vitória Gas Pipeline (GASCAV)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1847 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Cabiúnas – Vitória Gas Pipeline (GASCAV)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 8 gas treatment units, compressor station (ECOMP), receiving point (PR), delivery points (PE).

2.3 Valve Stations of Cabiúnas – Vitória Gas Pipeline (GASCAV)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 16 valve stations (SDV).

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
