The GIS Datasets contain the 443km 42″ Azerbaijan Section of Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan Pipeline (BTC), which runs from the Sangachal Terminal in Bakı (Baku), Ardahan, Azerbaijan, and ends at the Azerbaijan-Georgia border in Ağstafa, Ganja-Qazakh.

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.
2.1 Route of Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan Pipeline (BTC) – Azerbaijan Section
The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1032 turning points along the pipeline route.
2.2 Main Stations of Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan Pipeline (BTC) – Azerbaijan Section
The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 pump stations, intermediate pigging station.
2.3 Block Valve Stations of Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan Pipeline (BTC) – Azerbaijan Section
The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 22 block valves, check valves.
We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
