The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 191.4km Al-Ahdab – Nasiriyah Oil Pipeline (Ahdab EXL1), which starts from Ahdab oil field CPF in Al Kut, Wasit and ends at the pig receiving station next to Nasiriyah Crude Oil Depot in An Nasiriyah, Dhi-Qar.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Al-Ahdab – Nasiriyah Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 446 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Al-Ahdab – Nasiriyah Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 oil field CPF and pigging station.

2.3 Valve Stations of Al-Ahdab – Nasiriyah Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 8 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
