The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 213.87km DN700/DN500 Leiria – Braga gas pipeline and its 67.58km branch lines to Soure, Montemor-o-Velho, Aveiro, Air Liquide Estarreja, Vila Nova de Gaia, Tapada, Perafita and Braga. The main line starts from the junction station in Bidoeira De Cima, Leiria, and ends at the junction station in Vila Nova de Famalicao, Braga.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Leiria – Braga Gas Pipeline (Lote 2)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1279 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Pipeline Stations of Leiria – Braga Gas Pipeline (Lote 2)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 38 gas regulating & metering stations, junction stations, delivery point, block valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
