The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 91km 30″ Moheshkhali – Anowara gas transmission pipeline, which starts from the Moheshkhali LNG FSRU (MLNG) offshore Moheshkhali Island in the Bay of Bengal, and ends at the city gate station in Anowara, Chittagong.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Moheshkhali – Anowara Gas Transmission Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 264 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Moheshkhali – Anowara Gas Transmission Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 4 LNG FSRU, pig-launching station, custody transfer metering station (CTMS), city gate station (CGS).

2.3 Valve Stations of Moheshkhali – Anowara Gas Transmission Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 valve stations (VS).

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
