The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 205.8km Chainsa – Jhajjar – Hissar spur line of the Vijaipur – Dadri Gas Pipeline, which supplies natural gas from the compressor station in Chainsa, Haryana to the receive terminal in Hissar, Haryana. The pipeline consists of two sections: Chainsa – Jhajjar – Bamnoli Gas Pipeline and Sultanpur – Jhajjhar – Hisar Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Chainsa – Jhajjar – Hissar Gas Pipeline (Mainline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 589 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Chainsa – Jhajjar – Hissar Gas Pipeline (Mainline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 compressor station (CS) and receive terminal (RT).

2.3 Sectionalizing Valve Stations of Chainsa – Jhajjar – Hissar Gas Pipeline (Mainline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 9 sectionalizing valve stations (SV).

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
