The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 180km 18″ Barmer – Pali spur line of the Mehsana – Bhatinda gas pipeline network. This pipeline supplies natural gas from Raageshwari Gas Terminal in Barmer, Rajasthan to the trunkline’s intermediate pigging station in Pali, Rajasthan.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Barmer – Pali Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 427 Turning Points along the Pipeline Route.

2.2 Main Stations of Barmer – Pali Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 dispatch terminal (DT) and  intermediate pigging stations (IPS).

2.3 Sectionalizing Valve Stations of Barmer – Pali Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 6 sectionalizing valve stations (SV).

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
