The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 364km 48″ Dolphin Gas Project Subsea Export Pipeline, which starts from Dolphin Energy Gas Processing Plant in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar, and ends at the compressor station in Al Taweelah, Abu Dhabi. The pipeline is also known as Dolphin Qatar – UAE Natural Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Dolphin Gas Project Subsea Export Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 33 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Dolphin Gas Project Subsea Export Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 gas process plant and compressor station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
