The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 509.8km 28″ Rocade East-West Gas Pipeline (GREO), which consists of two sections: 436.4km Khenchela – Boughezoul Section and 73.4km Oued Taria (Mascara) – Sidi Bel Abbès Section. The Khenchela – Boughezoul Section runs from Baghai, Khenchela to Boughezoul, Médéa. The Oued Taria (Mascara) – Sidi Bel Abbès Section runs from Oued Taria, Mascara to Ain Thrid, Sidi Bel Abbès.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Rocade East-West Gas Pipeline (GREO)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 1301 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Rocade East-West Gas Pipeline (GREO)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 8 pigging stations and interconnection stations.

2.3 Valve Stations of Rocade East-West Gas Pipeline (GREO)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 22 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
