The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 336km 24″ ELR1 LPG Pipeline, which runs from Sud2 Injection Point of LR1 LPG Pipeline in Hassi Messaoud, Ouargla, and ends at Hassi R’Mel Arrival Terminal in Hassi R’Mel, Laghouat. The pipeline is also known as Hassi Messaoud – Hassi R’Mel LPG Pipeline, Hassi Massaoud – Hassi R’Mel LPG Pipeline, and Expansion Line of LR1 LPG Pipeline.

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of ELR1 LPG Pipeline (Hassi Messaoud – Hassi R’Mel LPG Pipeline)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 563 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of ELR1 LPG Pipeline (Hassi Messaoud – Hassi R’Mel LPG Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 5 pump station, pigging stations and LPG terminal.

2.3 Valve Stations of ELR1 LPG Pipeline (Hassi Messaoud – Hassi R’Mel LPG Pipeline)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 15 valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
