The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 131km 48″ Obiafu-Obrikom – Oben Gas Pipeline (OB3) and its 5.1km 24″ branch line from Obiafu-Obrikom Gas Plant to OB3 CTMS. The main line starts from OB3 CTMS in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers and ends at Oben Node in Ethiope West, Delta.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Obiafu-Obrikom – Oben Gas Pipeline (OB3)

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 180 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Obiafu-Obrikom – Oben Gas Pipeline (OB3)

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 5 oil field’s gas processing station, metering station, pigging station, and gas node.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
