The GIS Datasets contain the route and stations of the 91.1km 18″ Ajaokuta – Obajana Gas Pipeline, which starts from the Tie-in Point to Oben – Ajaokuta Gas Pipeline and Oben – Geregu Gas Pipeline in Ajaokuta, Kogi and ends at Obajana Terminal Station in Kabba/Bunu, Kogi.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Ajaokuta – Obajana Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 231 Turning Points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Ajaokuta – Obajana Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 tie-in point and metering station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
