The GIS Datasets contain the 37.5km TIP-03 Gas Interconnector, which runs from Karasay, Almaty to Zhambyl, Almaty. The interconnector links Central Asia – China Gas Pipelines with Bukhara – Tashkent – Bishkek – Almaty Gas Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of TIP-03 Gas Interconnector

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 128 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Pipeline Stations of TIP-03 Gas Interconnector

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 metering station, pigging station, and block valve station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.

 

3 Lifetime Free Updates:

The downloadable files of digital pipeline map are updated irregularly to reflect the relocation of pipeline, construction of new stations, removal of existing stations and changes of administrative areas.
