Description

The GIS Datasets contain the 49.4km 720mm Shymkent – Shagyr Oil Pipeline, which receives crude oil from Pavlodar – Shymkent Oil Pipeline in Shymkent, and supplies the oil to the railway loading station in Shagyr, Arysskiy, Turkistan. The first 48 kilometers of this pipeline reutilized the Shymkent – Chardzhou Oil Pipeline.

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Shymkent – Shagyr Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 159 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Shymkent – Shagyr Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 3 pump station, pigging station, oil loading station.

2.3 Block Valve Stations of Shymkent – Shagyr Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 4 block valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
