The GIS Datasets contain the 1141km Bovanenkovo – Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline and its 94.16km water-crossing loop lines. The pipeline run from the Bovanenkovskoye Field in Yamalsky District, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and end at the metering station in Ukhta urban district, Komi Republic.

2 Files Included

Two GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Bovanenkovo – Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 2620 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Bovanenkovo – Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 11 gas field, compressor stations, and metering station.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
