The GIS Datasets contain the 83.5km Verkhnechonskoye Field – ESPO Oil Pipeline, which runs from Katangskiy, Irkutsk to Lenskiy, Sakha. This pipeline is used to transport crude oil from the Verkhnechonsky Field to Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline (ESPO).

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Verkhnechonskoye Field – ESPO Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 134 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Verkhnechonskoye Field – ESPO Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 2 pump station and delivery point.

2.3 Block Valve Stations of Verkhnechonskoye Field – ESPO Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 12 block valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
