The GIS Datasets contain the 696km Kuyumba – Taishet Oil Pipeline, which runs from Baykitskiy, Evenkiyskiy to Tayshetskiy, Irkutsk. This pipeline is used to transport crude oil from the Kuyumbinskoye and Yurubcheno‑Tokhomskoye fields to Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline (ESPO).

2 Files Included

Three GIS datasets are included in this product based on pipeline facility types. Additionally, some GIS formats do not allow the mixing of different entity types (i.e., points, lines, and areas) within a single file.

2.1 Route of Kuyumba – Taishet Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain a line with the exact location coordinates of 794 turning points along the pipeline route.

2.2 Main Stations of Kuyumba – Taishet Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 12 pump stations and pigging stations.

2.3 Block Valve Stations of Kuyumba – Taishet Oil Pipeline

The datasets contain the exact location coordinates and names of the pipeline’s 54 block valve stations.

We provide three types of file formats: .kmz, .shp, and .xlsx. Our users can open .kmz and .shp files with various GIS software and convert them into other GIS formats. You can use Excel to open .xlsx files, which contain the coordinates of pipeline route turning points and stations.
